Bay to Breakers is a classic San Francisco event. The annual foot race is seven miles long, starting at the Bay in eastern SF and heading west all the way across town to the ocean.
Some people take the race very seriously. They sleep well, eat carbs, and complete the race in under an hour.
But most of us put on crazy costumes, get a little tipsy, and join the immense moving party.

To be perfectly honest, this year we got a little lazy. Halfway through the race we ended up on our friend's front steps dancing and watching the people go by.
This town has so many event where one is almost expected to get drunk during the daytime. These are the sorts of events that I feel comfortable attending in costume.

Omigod, does my vagina make me look fat?!?

San Francisco's annual 7.5-mile cross-town run features more walkers than runners, many of whom are costumed - and a few of whom are totally un-costumed. With 65,000 participants, the first runners finish before the last walkers even cross the start line. But with lots of music, beer, and people to look at, it's not so much a race as a party.

So here we are, three happy little vaginas. This was my first adventure accompanied by other costumed vaginas.

Fan-fucking-tastic. I absolutely love it.

I am wearing my most recent costume. The woman on the right is wearing an older costume of mine, and the woman on the left is wearing a Latina-colored model I made for her.

People just love taking pictures of vaginas.

KRON-4 actually put us on TV for close to thirty seconds before someone realized they were SHOWING VAGINAS ON TV!! Oh lord no. (They told me the FCC could fine them $40,000.)

Put your hands in the air!

Thank you Ash for taking such lovely photos!
